Getting Back to Normal

Yes, I know...It has been awhile. Life has been pretty hectic this last month. However, things are getting more "normal" every day. We are working hard to make our house a home. We have almost all of the rooms unpacked. We ordered blinds and shades to stop the entire neighboorhood from seeing everything going on in our house. We actually have some pictures hanging on the walls and are talking about paint colors. Sydney is doing great! She crawls all over the house. She is quite a little dare devil too. She is actually standing up. She can stand up while she's holding on to things, but falls over when she lets go. I think in another month she's going to be walking :)

Sydney continues to love food and try new ones all the time. Some new foods include papaya, green beans, honeydew, mashed potatoes, and tofu. The other day Sydney wasn't interested in eating her spinach, instead she wanted to drink it. So it was pretty messy, but she enjoyed every last bit of it :)

Sydney loves bath time.

Last week, Sydney went to Kiddos, a baby and toddler gym. Sydney had a great time. She spent a few minutes in the ball pit, but all she wanted to do was eat the balls.

Sydney tried to climb up the bridge, but fell over backwards after she got to the second step.

Sydney flashed some big smiles after sliding down the slide.

The best part of the trip to Kiddos was at the end when Sydney crawled the entire way through the tunnel.

Sydney also hit a major milestone in her little life. She actually spent an entire night without mom and dad. This past Saturday Jason and I went to the Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa for a well deserved mini vacation. Aunt Christina stayed with Sydney. They had a blast!
